DEVELOPMENT OF INNOVATIVE STRATEGIES ON THE BASIS OF AN INTEGRATED APPROACH
TO ASSESSMENT OF THE INNOVATIVE POTENTIAL OF KNOWLEDGE-BASED BUSINESSES

Background. The relevance of this topic is connected with an increasing role of innovative processes in ensuring sustainable economic growth.
Materials and methods. This article uses materials from the official sources, and research materials on assessment of the innovative potential of high-tech enterprises of Penza city.
Results. The author considered the recently used approaches to estimation of the innovative potential of high-tech enterprises, suggested a methodological approach to development and selection of innovative strategies based on assessment of company’s innovative activity and financial stability.
Conclusions. Determining a type of innovative potential allows to evaluate the correctness of the chosen direction of innovative development from the point of view of the achieved innovative activity and financial condition of a company. The proposed model can become the substantial basis of formation of the strategy of innovative development and effective commercialization of new technologies.
